Ramoji's top priority: Save Kiran (greatandhra article)

Those who have been closely reading Eenadu daily can observe an interesting aspect these days. There are more positive stories on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and his government, rather than Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
It has given an impression that Eenadu group chairman Ch Ramoji Rao has shifted his political leaning from the TDP to the Congress, particularly Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Like for example, the banner stories in Eenadu on Sunday was: “Great relief to the middle class with relaxation of building rules and “Why YSR?” (CM’s meeting with party leaders). Similarly, the banner story a couple of days ago was: Rejuvenation of the Congress party by filling up nominated posts.
Apparently, Ramoji Rao does not want the present Congress government to get destabilized due to internal bickering and the Kiran Kumar Reddy government to collapse. It will be safer for him (and of course the TDP), if the weak Kiran government continues till 2014. If the government collapses and mid-term elections take place, it would be a big trouble for him because YSR Congress party has fair chances of coming to power earlier than expected. So, Ramoji wants status quo.
