NAIDU FACES THE IRE OF A WOMAN

.
The former Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu had to face a very embarrassing situation in his Peruru meeting, today, when a woman openly criticized him in front of all those present. Her vocal criticism created an uproar at the meeting.
This left a sour taste in Naidu's mouth. For the past five days, the TDP chief had been gloating over the success of his meetings filled with mobilized crowds.
Naidu set out on his padayatra for the sixth day of his 117-day padayatra from Peruru in Raptadu constituency, accompanied by Paritala Sunitha, and was addressing a  gathering, when a woman from the crowd, Mutyalamma shouted at him saying that they had not benefited at all during the TDP era or the current Congress dispensation. Her comments left Naidu nonplussed.

Naidu termed his padayatra as vastunna mee kosam ( I am coming for you) to learn about the peoples problems directly by interacting with them. But when people are forthcoming in their feedback and criticism Naidu bristles with anger. When Mutyalamma continued her tirade, the TDP activists allegedly snatched the mike from her.

Moral of the story: Naidu should have called his padayatra,  vastunna na swartham kosam (I am coming for my own selfish ends), because he doesn't have the time, patience or inclination to listen to the problems people are plagued with. Further, he is not interested in finding a solution. His padayatra is a drama being enacted to regain some lost ground apart from being a launching pad for his son Lokesh.
