YSR Congress party honorary president YS Vijayamma met President Pranab Mukherjee in the afternoon today, along with several YSRCP leaders. Vijayamma was accompanied by Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and YV Subba Reddy. The YSRCP honorary president met the President to discuss the injustice meted out to Jagan. She told him about the CBI's partial treatment towards the YSRCP president. "They made us wait for five long months only to reject the bail. Now, we are also not being allowed to file a bail petition for the next five months which is unheard of anywhere else in the world," she said.
Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said, "In the past, we had met the Prime Minister to explain the vindictive nature of the CBI probe. Everyone knows now that it's the conspiracy of the TDP and the Congress to keep Jagan in jail."
